Day 1

Tammy Troxel and I were placed at the local radio station for our internship. There we are going to learn the ropes of everything, practice with the sound boards, make a commercial, go out with sales people, and even broadcast live. Today we both got to do a live broadcasting with Ryan Thompson on KKYL on an add and he did a little intro for us explaining why we were there.

Matt gave us a tour of the building, and showed us where each person was stationed. While there today, we got to spend a little time with just about everyone in the building and here about what they did at the station. Throughout the next week and a half we will be spending a little time with everyone and experience what they do. Right now our first task is to make a commercial for a local business. I really enjoy the environment, and love the staff there even more.

P.S. I got Ryan Thompson to install Trivia Crack and he added me so we can play against each other. He said it was good waste of time while waiting to broadcast live between songs/ads even though he sucks at it.
